Do you pay attention to the words you use when describing people who are different from you?
If you don’t know my story, I will try to be brief; car accident and brain injury, isolated for almost a decade. I wake up to this world. Where my body is not mine and somewhere everyone turned into racist assholes…. Don’t get me wrong, I always knew my dad was one and my in-laws. If I hadn’t had my accident, I would have been in their face more after the first trump regime… The fact that Roe was overturned and they continued to vote for a convicted rapist and felon has been utterly disgusting to wake up to. Now the tiny little sick fuck is a suspected pedaphile, well… he probably always was but I wasn’t around during 2019 when epstein crap came out.
So we are here…. And as an older white lady; I’m pissed that white people think they are not racist, yet they use racist rhetoric and disgusting words and do not take into account the effect it has on the people they are marginalizing/degrading/verbally raping.
For example, in my recent post here, I came across a racist 70+ year old lady (Sue) that disgustingly used a term on a text string with a handful of us. When asked by another white lady not to use the term, Sue attacked her. When told a story about how the term was used to hurt Anastasia’s** family growing up, Sue essential told her that her experience didn’t matter, and she would continue to use the term. Is this the kind of racist you are? Sue married a hispanic man and claims to have great affinity towards that part of her in-law family; however, she will discount these friend’s requests and experiences in not only thinking the term was gross, Anastasia shared how it was used to truly hurt her family growing up and is still used to this day in certain communities to marginalize her people. Sue didn’t care. Yet claims to care….? Sooooo, I ask you…… IS THIS THE TYPE OF RACIST YOU ARE?????
If so, grow up and evolve, or fuck off. It is not acceptable now, nor was it ever to think you can use terms like this in our society to make yourself feel big and to make others feel small. Take your smallness and get the fuck out. For I have met more people who are NOT white who deserve freedom more than your white racist ass does. Just fuck off and YOU get the fuck out.
The America I was raised to believe in was the United States that were just that; united. Although I never agreed wtih my families politics, I always accepted that we were just different. Then you came for my body and everyone different then you. And now, I believe it is my responsibility to make sure you don’t go unchecked. Cuz with all my heart you closeted racist assholes FUCK OFF.
p.s. maybe I need to rename my blog to fuck off… hmmmmm I’m using it a lot these days…..
