Great news for reproductive freedom in the states
We had some elections yesterday and voted on some stuff. Many of the united states did anyway. And I got a great email this morning from Reproductive Freedom For All, and it said abortion won big yesterday. Read more about it on their news page, and below is the email summary:

These wins include:
🎉 Virginia voters elected a reproductive freedom trifecta, securing majorities in the House of Delegates and electing Abigail Spanberger as governor, Ghazala Hashmi as lieutenant governor, and Jay Jones as attorney general. These wins are critical to protecting abortion access in the only Southern state without an abortion ban.
🎉 Proposition 50 passed in California, the initiative to temporarily redraw California’s congressional districts to balance Republican attacks on our democracy.
🎉 Reproductive freedom champion Mikie Sherrill is the next Governor of New Jersey.
🎉 Pennsylvania retained three state Supreme Court justices that will ensure there are fair-minded courts striking down anti-abortion laws.
Access to abortion care remains one of the most mobilizing and decisive issues for voters across the political spectrum. Voters continue to reject candidates who try to appear moderate on abortion.
We’ll talk about what these results mean for the 2026 midterms at our next member meeting. Join us on Wednesday, November 12 for a virtual call!

This is incredible news for state access to reproductive freedom for all. Great job America!
