Sticking ur head in the sand, still????

Well, we are almost a year since the election in the US and some still choose to keep sticking their heads in the sand, or up their asses. It’s really shameful that you can live in the US right now and dont get involved. How can you honestly sit there and see videos of people being pulled from their cars and taken away by armed masked, unidentifiable men in unmarked vehicles to never be seen again, and still sit there? TO watch Roe get overturned and say you have no opinion, to see NAZI rhetoric go up around your town and your country and not get angry?

Fuck off! Seriously people, get off your fucking couches and stop watching all your imaginary romances, I’m not saying you shouldn’t escape from time to time; but if you live in a fantasy where you will never talk politics and you won’t be around people ‘who are negative’; then you are an asshole. Im not saying wallow in it, but you better be having some real fucking conversations about the real world. Because it’s not even close to ok right now and you need to pull you head out of your ass and figure out what you stand for before the nazis are knocking at your door demanding you turn in your neighbors.

I already know who would turn me in in my life, because I let a few closet racists and racist sympathizers into my life for a short time. They are already on a campaign to try to get the cops involved, even though I have had nothing to do with them for months, outside one brief text to stop harassing my friends; they are spreading lies around in a way that apparently a few people believe, even those who claimed to ‘know me’; who sat at my kitchen table in tears as they told me how much they were hurt by comments said in a ‘friend’ group text. and that they cried for days…. But when I stand up for them I am the evil one, I’m the one that needs to be checked? maybe, but only because I cared too much for a backstabbing person who showed a character I didn’t think you could fake…. until now…. she faked it, fooooor sure..
